Join is in Thatcher, AZ on March 21-22 for the fourth annual XWN Workshop hosted by the Gila Watershed Partnership. Prepare to exchange lessons with your peers on a variety of technical and programmatic watershed management topics suggested by you and your peers through the pre-registration survey sent out last month.
Topics to be covered include:
- revegetation techniques and strategies
- lessons and strategies for effective watershed collaboration
- controlling invasive plant and animal species
- case-based problem solving sessions
You also won’t want to miss a hands-on experience learning about current Gila Watershed Partnership (GWP) projects. We will be taking a close look at GWP’s Native Plant Propagation Center and participate in a planting demo at a site along the Gila River. Come ready to take notes on tools to bring back to your own watershed as well as to make recommendations to your peers working in the Gila!
