Riparian Restoration in the Context of Change - Cross Visit Between SE Utah Riparian Partnership & Desert Rivers Collaborative

This day-long field trip, which is sponsored by the Cross Watershed Network, will provide an opportunity for dialogue between practitioners and researchers to:
  • Determine the trajectory of plant community composition in light of tamarisk defoliation 
  • Share management approaches to guiding desirable site conditions
  • Inform future research projects  
Participants will tour sites along the Colorado River east of Moab. 

This field trip will serve as the spring meeting for the Desert Rivers Collaborative and will allow time for the Middle Colorado Watershed Cooperative Weed Management Area group to meet during lunch. 

This event is free. Lunch will be provided by the Southeast Utah Riparian Partnership.
